Bourbon Balcony

“Bourbon Balcony” was from a reference photo I took while at the Professional Photographers of America convention in New Orleans the year before Katrina hit. It is one of a collection of New Orleans posters I did to raise donations for Hurricane Katrina Relief. We raised quite a bit of money that went to the Red Cross.

Eventually it also was the cover of the Professional Rangefinder Magazine and was the center piece of an article about my City Art and how I create it.

It was the second of my paintings to receive National and International acclaim. We never sold the original, it’s too close to my heart. I keep it where I can always see it.
